NYE Countdown 2008/2009 @ Vivo

HAPPY 2009!

Went for the NYE Countdown @ VivoCity.
with the party clique: Sz, Randy and Gary.
The crowd wasnt as big as i've expected.
maybe we didnt walk all the way into the heart of the celeb.
or maybe its channel 8's celeb.

Anyway, the company was great!
Funny as ever!!
got to see glimpses of the fireworks from Siloso and Vivo.
HAHA!

chilled around Vivo
nonsensical chat with never-ending laughter.
and cabbed home together in a taxi with KARAOKE system!
the speakers were uber! BASS

Reminisces of 2008

For the past 364 days, i had........
-worked for 6 months with the "fun-nest" bunch of people (Ade,Lynn,Sebas,Josh,Jon,Mel,Alwyn,Kelly,and not forgetting Rosie)
-took my A lvls results (and thank God that it hadnt been too bad and that Sz had been there)
-got into SIM and met really friendly people
-missed paintball session
-went for kbox less than 3 times (i think...Lol)
-went for 6 RE gatherings in total
-went for 2 PHS Class gatherings
-went for all the other PHS cliqueS gatherings
-went for 1 MJC Class gathering =x
-hosted a potluck (and we are doing it again for 2009!)
-splurged =x
-been to countdown 2007/2008 at Merlion Park
-picked up a new hobby (collage)
-had my first taste of Martini and Green Monster
-trusted non-commercially sold locally contact lenses (and am still using it)
-strike a balance in musical taste (dark-bright, heavy-mellow) HAHA!
-yet finish Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince even after so many years. *gave up*
-an itunes library where at least 8gb of the 10.68gb songs werent from me, and where at least 2gb looked foreign. LOL.
-yet pass Randy his birthday present since Aug =x
-yet return Man Ning her thumbdrive =x
-secretly made a promise never to go for movies in cinemas after seeing the bedbugs-bitten pic on Stomp.
-been trapped in a lift
-realised i'm not cut out to give tuition
-decided to forward the "grow taller" resolution to 2009.
-been to countdown 2008/2009


For the next 365 days, i will...
-get accustomed to wearing higher heels (LOL!)
-be more disciplined when it comes to school work
-slim 4kg down
-learn to entertain myself (since the fav friends are enlisting.. aww)
-start living for myself
-still let kbox/pubs/cabbies earn my monies =x
-still plan for Potluck 2009
-co-plan NYE Countdown 2009/2010
-try to rmb to bring Randy's 2008 bdae present with 2009's
-try to quit online shopping
-rmb to return mn her thumbdrive
-try asking for drum lessons from Sz. LOL!

Chillout - Class Gathering 2008

went for the poa extra lec.
surprised at the big turn-out.
Lol!
was staring at the clock every now and then.
cant wait for time to pass...

Reached home at around 445pm.
Met up with Sz to go for the Class Gathering together.
24 turned up for the gathering! much credits to Jiemin for coordinating...
and... RANDY TURNED UP!





after the dinner @ Manhattan Fish Market..
we had wanted to go Timbre @ Old School.
But there was a long queue and too many of us...
so we went Alps Cafe instead...
where the whole fun started.
LOL!

played cards, dice
had martini and sips from beer, green monster, margarita-s, etc.
cabbed home with Sz, Gary and Justine.
In a way, its more of seeing Gary home.
Lol.

this christmas... like all other years,
received a card from Man Ning! =)
yaqin claimed to send a card (which was never received) Lol!
colin made a card (virtually) thats pretty sweet of him. =)

dozens of smses (even from unexpected people. hahaha)
but edmund's sms was really the most original one
it goes like this... ...
Santa cant get car loan this christmas, lost house to lehman and madoff, sold his reindeer and retrenched his elves, but i'm still around to wish you, Merry Christmas!

was talking about ipods with Sz.
was telling him "eh how come i never see my cyan-coloured ipod on the apple website"
and he said i can prolly donate to the ipod museum cuz its EXTINCT.

Met up with Sharyl and Cheryl for lunch yesterday
then went up RE to say hi to Michelle, Wendy, Eliz
they are still funny as ever!

After that went Kino to shop around.
the queue was LONGGGG.
looked around for books while Sz made his way from school to join me in looking for the class gathering $4.30 gift exchange.
Finding a $4.30 gift aint an easy job.

hahaha.

so we walked around Cine and Heeren
He got a couple of cds from HMV.
then walked to Plaza Sing where he had caused a "minor" accident to a passerby.
and it was UBER FUNNY!

had loads of dumb fun @ spotlight while trying to find $4.30 gift.
Lol.
and well, we found it! =)

Aftermath of all the walking, legs were uber tired upon reaching home.
It's kinda weird, cuz there wasnt any lethargy while shopping around.
WEAK.
