like wow, it's going to turn out to be a mini phs gathering there.
but again, since kosin and i werent exactly much acquaintances with them, so i guess life in sim just goes on normal for me.
and oh, i think i should intro man ning to kosin and vice versa...
so they can meet for lectures.

bunch of people who turned up for Recruitment Drive (RD) today...
Jarren, Weisi, David, Jokko, Thiri, Verina, Veronica, Alex, ChaiLee, Budi, etc.
slogged till 4pm before we self declared "time for home"
pretty good response.
gotten 50 contact details (which is really remarkable, looking at the "groups" --> not even crowd)
and, i lost my voice.
ah yes, that soccer guy is interesting. =)

decided to be creative about the journey to school today, 156 then 52.
guess what?
i got stuck in a traffic jam @ the expressway along macritchie, for the whole ONE hour.
omg.
and my ysz told me to have faith with buses.

school highlights.

went for the club's "closed-door" meeting last wed.
was really glad to see the familiar faces - David, Pearl, Eujene, ChaiLee, WeiSi, Jay, etc.
hmm, the new ex-co was made up of really nice and familiar people, so i guess we'll be having lotsa of fun together this year. ^^

last uk lec ended on Thurs.
and yes, with buddy shane around, school's totally fun.
we were really good on Thurs by not submitting to the deepest temptation of leaving during lunch.
I couldnt convince myself to leave halfway cuz i'll prolly cant get over the guilt.
And so, Shane didnt get the "second opinion" to totally convince himself too.
Thinks its a bad idea to seat both of us together during lec, there's always a high tendency of leaving halfway.

I thought i was the only one who thought sengkang is a great place for kite-flying since there are open fields. And then that day, when we were talking about kite-flying... by far, Shane was the only one who agreed. THAT'S GREAT

But the company is nevertheless, motivating and hilarious
with Shane volunteering himself to do a countdown to exams on msn, in weeks, days, hours and minutes.
I'll stay away from my lappy.

Skipped half the math lec on last sat cuz it feels retarded.
Coming to think of it, i'm feeling guilty already.
Met up with Sz after his half-day work and lunch-ed.
Then went to collect his speakers and dropped them off at my place
and then accompanied him to Suntec to oversee some matters.
That night, celebrated my mum's birthday @ Serangoon Country Club

i-cant-think-of-a-title... exams frenzy?

i've just seen my schedule for this month again, this time with eyes wide opened.

here it goes...
i'm having 10-5 lectures consec for sat,sun,mon,tue,wed,thur....
so i've decided to blog this one last lengthy entry, and after which i would disappear till end of exams (that is 15th May)

i'm just worried at how i'm taking things so lightly.
there arent many days left till exams, and i've yet gotten back my prime momentum.
i know i can do it, but i need to get down and do it.
And it means not overlooking the nitty gritty details (which kills as proven in prelims)
And it means waking up in dreams to recall work, and falling asleep in the process and the cycle continues.

the best thing i've heard this week: it's never too late to start...
but i would gun down every single one who tell me that, that is if i could.
for this kills every little motivation i have to start working RIGHT NOW.

And at this exams-frenzy time...
i need to get well from the throat infection, and this means i need to get effective antibiotics from another doctor.
i need to stay away from specific people who have high tendencies of adversely affecting my mood. The bottom-line is... i dont need anything else to complicate matters.

i'm so glad that things went well on 1st april.
truly grateful for everyone who made it possible.

its ironic
part of me wants to stay away to keep this happiness "fairytalised".
part of me wants to see him soon to elevate this level of happiness (yet running a risk of him depressing me)
i often wished i can strike a balance in this.
but it seemed i'm not always in control.

All the best to me for tomorrow, and many more tomorrows in life.

For the first time this week, i managed to sleep through the night.

on the 16th, was randomly checking the school portal to see if there are any notices.
and then i saw "Opting in for written prelim exams, deadline 17th Feb)
they didnt even sms to inform us that we HAD to opt in to take the written exams
And we had all thought that by default, we will be taking written exams instead of online prelims.
another mad rush to send smses to other fellow mates.

Today has been pretty fruitful.


Went for lec in the morn w/o Tiff since she's sick.

1) Was supposed to meet Sharyl for lunch (but she's having biz meeting and so it was postponed to maybe Monday)
2) After lunch, was supposed to meet Sz for last min potluck shopping

Change of Plan.
So, met up with Sz for lunch @ AMK Hub.
then headed off to rip from his "PRECIOUS". =)
where we were totally won over by his mighty speakers.
Then he came over my place for me to put down/ pick up some stuff before heading to Giant Tampines to get the remaining Potluck stuff.
Gotten the stuff, then had dinner @ CP Mac.

The Mega Mcspicy was UBER spicy.
got a feeling that i might lose my voice (again).
Noooooooo pls. I need the vocals for tmr and Sunday.

Gathering n Appreciation Night

Finally turned up for the Gathering and Appreciation Night on Wed night in school.
Jokko was nice enough to go school early (LOL, i bet he's afraid i fly kite again)
saw a couple of familiar faces - Clara, Jokko, David, Liyi, Chai Lee, Poniman, Eujene, Edmund.
It's kinda funny.

At every meeting we attend, we had to do self-intro and play ice-breakers, cuz we are constantly seeing new faces. It's not that the club's having more and more people joining, it's because of people who are like me - turned up for one and mia the whole month. =x
Anyway, ice-breakers were balls of fun!
We had this egg-protector game where we had to drop an egg from 4th storey and not break it.
Supplied with newspaper scraps, straws, rafia and toothpick.
Much Credits to Colin (who was invited by Eujene for this gathering) and GuCheng for the idea.
we won (much to our surprise too) =)
and Ben's really cute. =x LOL!

Took a bus to dover mrt with chai lee to head home.
Train-ed home then.
Colin was pretty nice to entertain me on my journey.
hahaha

Was randomly telling friends about the Starbucks event.
And so, Sebas was saying he's meeting up his mentor on next wed.
What a coincidence! I'm meeting my mentor too next fri.

Eventful

yesterday was pretty eventful.

lunch-ed with Tiffany @ Mega after class.
Sat there and chatted with her from 12 till 2pm.
hahaha.

brought my lappy to school.
to keep me company @ Tay Eng Soon Library while waiting for Yy's event to start.
Tried to load Southpark videos, and it wouldnt load. =/
And everyone else in the library were MUGGING.
i can foresee my year 2- life.
Lol.
Anyway, stayed there and blog-hopped, read CNA, BBC, Forbes, Economist.
As you can see, i'm really bored.
Left the library at approx 3pm.

I lurve Mondays.

Lec was fine.
I was unusually early for lec.
And, there's a "Perfect Competition" Surprise next Monday.

Met with Sz today for quick lunch @ AMK Hub.
since I've ended my class, while he's going to school for proj.
Ended up he had already eaten or something, so he sat there and accompany/watch me eat.

Was randomly listening to the band songs that i've played back in secondary school years last weekend.
Alleluia, Caccia & Chorale, Free World Fantasy, Mambo Magic...
I had denied more than once, saying that i dont have good memories of band days...
I had more than a couple of times, saying that the best thing about leaving secondary school is that i no longer have to attend band practices.
But i hadda admit, i kindof miss those days on stage playing as a band...
having to count the rest bars, stuffing the mutes into the bells, clearing the saliva, lip slurs, tongue-ing, fanfares, solos, pitching high high C, etc.
There was an overwhelming sense of fulfillment
And i'm hoping is to have one last chance to play all these pieces + Japanese Graffiti XII + Sound of Brazil + Laputa + Abba Gold with a band...

Randomly, i've told Sz about this little wish over lunch today...
And he said its prolly "Nodame Cantabile" effect.
LOL.

And i dont really know why.
It's kindof easier for me to come up with emo sentences and in general i think people can better relate to emo-ness.

Past week had been pretty smooth, though i was late for all lectures. =x

Shane: Maybe? i think by the time you reached home, trust me, you'll be too lazy to come out.
Me: Lol, boy you are probably right.
I did went home and DID turned up for the night meeting, which was rather fun, pretty glad to see familiar faces around: David, Sai, Jason, Eujene, Pearl, Edmund, Jokko. The people there are kindof fun. Clara, Chai Lee, Li Yi, Ardy, Winson, Vincent.
Had planned to dine with Sebas after the meeting, but he had hall meeting @ 2200pm, while i end mine @ 2100pm, postponed~ Like he said, whenever we make plans, something will definitely screw the plans up.
