NTU

was supposed to meet some colleagues/ ex-colleagues for dinner after work today... budden some changes to the plan... and went dinner with my family at swensens... Man, the choco fondue was so nicee....

went to NTU talks at Suntec today with man ning and Lorraine, got a clearer picture now... saw a couple of people there... jenny, yuanwen, yvonne (PHS), Lynn, Tiffany, Rosey, ShuHui, Zhiyan, Zaiton, takwai, and some phs and mj people whom i cant rmb their names.shopped around for awhile with Lorraine wanting to buy shoes...

was chatting with him that day and he was saying, "I think you should quit your job"... LOL... where got friends ask friends to quit jobs? hahahas... so i asked why. he replied saying that i ought to take a break from everything and stop being so busy and being work-drained... take a well-deserved break... He was right, in a sense... i started work like a week after the end of A levels... i hadnt taken any long breaks... but perhaps, he felt left out in my life... cuz before i even started working, we'll have this "lets go your house" hangout on saturdays... but since then, it's less frequent... and so, he will initiate things lyk, "hey, can give me a wakeup call?" kindof things and then chat for an hour or so during the wakeup call... that is so unlike of him... he used to be less emo/possessive... but now he's like... "hey, heard over the phone u had a msn ring... who was that/ why was he looking for you/ what he wans?" he never used to ask these kind of questions...

people may not understand the tug-o-war of this relationship i had with him... it was a close but not close enough... there but not there yet... it was so close thats why i dun wan to end it... it was not close enough but i chose to continue it... and to make matters worse, i always match other guys to him... and they were never close enough to substitute him... i know it's not right to compare, since people werent born to behave in the same way as anyone... but i just cant help it...

in a mood for heavy metal...

regular headline: i overslept every single day for this week... reaching on the dot for work... friday was the worst... got up at 0715... decided to take a day off to see 2 doctors... one for sore throat and another skin doctor, cuz some brown spots are not healing very well... spent a hefty 80 bucks that day...

am reaching on the dot every single day for work. Lol
having 3 eyelids per eye instead of the normal double eyelids explains that i havent been sleeping enough.
Nevertheless, came online to check mails, read blogs and multitasking in "accompanying" him for Valentine's Day.

got a rose with some other mini flowers (dunnoe what you call 'em) from a colleague. She's really nice, gotten everyone similar roses. then came those deliverymen with big bouquets of flowers with bears in the bouquets for the perm staff... gifts from boyfriends... traditional yet girls still hopelessly fall for it... but in any way, those bouquets are really beautiful. And Orchard became a couples-only-or-you-look-left-out street. hahahahas...

worked for half a day, the whole office was damn high... hahaha... and everyone left on the dot for the first time. was supposed to meet kosin up after work, but she can only make it after 1500, and i have to reach home by 1500... so i went shopping alone. hahahas... i've got past the awkardness of shopping alone. Had reunion dinner/lunch at home... and falling asleep (like past years) watching the cny tv celeb. It's getting so mundane and typical. Featuring Chinatown, singing CNY songs (and i've got a hunch that they play the cd instead of singing. lol) and yes, counting down. Not bad, can still vividly hear the fireworks at Chinatown from SengKang. Lol.



Day 1

woke up at 1000am... went downstairs to aunt's place where all the relatives (dad's side) gathered together. Cousins gathered together and had kbox session at my place. And everything ended around1600... so, ended up watching tv thereafter.



Day 2

went to m'sia for visitations. Relatives (mum's side) gathered at granny's place. More cousins as kakis for mahjong session and blackjack session. Lol. i ended up with the same money as i had before i started. Not a bad new year afterall. Hahahahas. Went for seafood at night... Man, we should all go one day, it's niceeeeee!



Day 3 (today)

took the 3rd boat back to Sg. reached about 845am. breakfast at Changi Village and headed home. Feeling really bored, Went Plaza Sing for shopping (you can see i was really bored). Spent 56 bucks on just 2 shirts. Mannn... Went home, fell asleep and just woke up =x For a change, i skipped a decent breakfast, lunch and dinner. How desperate. Lol.


Day 4 (tmr)

more tv, more tv and more tv....
reading TIME on bed...
surf more net...


every new year, as sz and i had both agreed, is so typical. But at least he was somewhat busy with visitations. Mine was like everyone gather at one place to avoid the hassle of having to travel to each other's house for visitations. I would rather go for visitations. Innovate, and bring a change to the 10 years tradition!
